Thanks for stopping by my travel blog. This is a place for me to share my travel plans for upcoming trips, my travel planning tips, tools, trip reports, and photos, as well as a place to network with fellow travelers
I hope as you read about my upcoming travel plans you are inspired to create your own. I hope that the travel planning tips and tools I share here make your planning easier. My desire is that the trip reports and photos help you to experience the journey with me. I promise to share the good, the bad and the ugly along the way. It would be wonderful if you would do the same by sharing your travels.
Why do I love to travel? I think Mark Twain describes it well.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime."
I know that in my life travel has helped me to see beyond myself, my location, my thinking, my way of life. I have seen how small I am and how big God is. God’s creation is massive and diverse and I am truly one small part.
